A grilled chicken breast that was first thrown into the deep fryer and then the grill, meh! Overcooked fries, and very overcooked fried chicken. Server left us hanging by just leaving when her shift was done. Not worth the stop!

As you can probably guess there aren't too many places for meals in this town, so my friend and I wandered in to Midway Bar and Grill for a food based on the restaurant's own website that stated it had good pizza. Good pizza is clearly relative as I thought it was weak. I'm glad I had my philly steak to split with my friend as well. The waffle fries I had were good too. If you're in the mood for bar food this place is fine, but as a warning most everything on the menu is fried. This place is quaint in a dive bar kind of way. It's definitely the local watering hole serving everything from tap beers to Busch in a can. Everyone who worked there was really nice. Once a month you can buy a space for $20 on a lottery and are eligible to win $1,000.

The waitress told us that they have the best pizza in Iowa County and she was .correct. my husband and I had the Deluxe and it didn't disappoint. This is not your average bar food. The pizza,was heaped with ingredients and lots of cheese. Our friends,had hamburgers with crinkle fries and sweet potato fries. They have about 4 or 5 varieties of French fries. The bar is beautiful. Our waitress was excellent. Oh and fried cheese curds -yes, I know they're bad for you but they're delicious. It is very affordable and there are interesting shops around.
